Cadburys Nursing Home Manager job. Wouldn't that be Outstanding!

Guess what, this home will be Outstanding with you at the helm. CQC Outstanding.

How do I know that? Lots of reasons, such as, it's a smaller medium-sized elderly and dementia care nursing home which means the pay reward on offer is above market rate and therefore attractive to good people. The home has an amazing track record which means CQC, LA & CHC think the world of the place. Over the years they have looked after thousands of people in the communities to the South West of Birmingham meaning their reputation is one of warm respect and affection.

There's more, this not-for-profit provider does not scrimp in any way, which means any commercially minded manager will find developing quality care towards outstanding ratings, not just possible but highly probable. Also, this is not a one-off, it's a charity comprising several similarly fantastic services which means the group support is fantastic. Yes indeed, their Ops Manager, your future boss, is widely regarded as being one of the most lovely and supportive senior managers in the south of England. Not only that, she is ably supported by a Clinical Support Manager who I have personally known for almost 15 years.

Hi praise, right? You won't just need to take my word for it and if I receive an application from you I will start by having a chat with you and filling in a few extra details.

I want to hear from you is you are:

A commercially sound Nursing Home Manager (with or without a NMC PIN).

You will live in the South/South West of Birmingham and surrounding areas of Worcestershire, possibly East Herefordshire, West Warwickshire or could also nip up the motorway from Gloucestershire.

We are after a strong manager but by strong, we do not mean SHOUTY! We mean someone who can stick to their guns and uphold policy and who knows that managing, often requires things to be nipped in the bud.

Key objectives include:

  • Recruitment, so that temp usage can be ceased again (to contribute towards budgetary success)
  • Maintaining an action plan (to keep your team and you focused and external stakeholders impressed)

And the most important thing they are looking for is:

  • Someone who embodies their values!
