Registered Manager, Leicester | £55,000-£60,000 + £20k+ performance bonus
Wanted: a stayer.
I'll be straight with you, because the right person will appreciate it. This home has seen managers come and go. Some found it tougher than they expected, and some didn't give it the time it deserved. So this isn't one for the faint-hearted, and it isn't one for anyone looking for an easy ride or a stepping stone.
But here's what the ones who left didn't stick around to see. The groundwork has been done. The improvement plan is complete, the group is investing, and the home is preparing to register for nursing: around 40 residents today, heading towards 50 beds, with a team of about 50 who want someone to believe in them.
What it needs now is continuity. A manager who will put an arm around the place, stay the course and not turn their back when it gets hard. If that's you, you won't be a name on a rota here. You'll be noticed and highly regarded in a family group that remembers who stood by them.
You'll bring:
- 5 to 10 years in care management, including as a CQC Registered Manager.
- A genuine track record of stabilising homes and teams.
- A Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
- A nursing background is welcome but not essential, as a Clinical Lead is joining alongside you.
- Resilience, warmth and staying power.
You'll get: £55,000-£60,000 plus £20k+ performance bonus, the backing of a quality team that rolls its sleeves up, and the chance to be the manager this home talks about for years.
