Sherborne Nursing Home - GOOD rated

100 Beds, split over three floors and three distinct units.

Unit Lead - You and one staff nurse will be responsible for 35 residents' very frail elderly with complex care needs including End of Life and Palliative Care, working with 4 top class carers.

You will be working for one of the best Nursing Home providers in the UK, outstanding training and development and a defined career path.

You need to be a Firm but Fair, Clinically strong with a respected management style

As Unit Lead, you would be expected to work mostly days, you may feel that there is requirement to work with the night team occasionally - training developing mentoring and supervisions.

Care practitioners are medication trained, can do drug rounds, and some minor wound dressings & all personal care,

Opportunity to mentor and develop both carers and student nurses, opportunity to undertake the mentorship module

Shifts are 8 - 8.15, but as Unit Lead you may need to work management hours 8 -4 on occasion.
