We are casting the net out in a bid to catch the best Supported Living Care Manager close to Leeds. How would you like the opportunity to work for an award-winning charitable organisation that provides outstanding care to the elderly?

This organisation has a beautiful retirment community in Leeds that offers 24 hour care to its residents. These residents have rented or bought their very own purpose built apartments and are living independently in fantastic surroundings complete with an onsite hair salon, therapy suite, cafe bistro and communal lounge. Regular activities are organised, there is a laundry and shopping service giving residents peace of mind to enjoy their lives to the fullest.

If you believe you have what it takes to be a Supported Living Care Manager/Housing with Care Manager and have management experience, then I want to hear from you. Perhaps you have worked in a similar role before and fancy a change. Maybe you have an abundance of expereince in a similar scheme, such as xtra care and have managed communities like this in the past.

Supported Living Care Manager - Responsibilities

  • Overall management of this community - putting your residents and their families at the forefront of every decision.
  • Recruiting, leading, developing and supervising your management and care team
  • Working closely with CQC, Local Authorities and external bodies, building strong relationships and developing the care community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of managing care settings previously with favourable inspections by the CQC.
  • Evidence of personal development as well as a willingness to undertake NVQ Level 4 in Care if not already attained.
  • The ability to motivate, lead and direct a large care a team to deliver and bring about improvement within a care setting.
  • Budgeting experience.

This role offers an exceptional salary of up to £37,855 per annum with a bonus of up to £3,000 subject to qualifying terms

Requirements for this position

For this role we are looking for someone with previous Care Management experience, preferably in supported living or an extra care scheme. You will enjoy the company of older people, have evidence of personal development and have a willingness to undertake NVQ 4 and Registered Managers Award if not already achieved. Budgetary experience would be desirable as would appraising, supervising, training and coaching staff to deliver the highest quality of care to residents living in a small community.
