Debbie Richardson has a strong affiliation with the healthcare sector, after witnessing the excellent standard of care her Grandfather received from nursing professionals while in a care home suffering from dementia.
Can you provide dedicated nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents?
Can you deliver clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home?
Then a career in care home nursing could be for you.
Many nurses think that working in a private care home will deskill them; this is simply not true. Due to the complex 24-hour care our clients offer, all their nurses are up-to-date with the latest clinical developments. Our clients provide a range of development opportunities to all nurses, including preceptorships for newly-qualified nurses, opportunities to develop clinical skills, and a clear achievable path into management. Our clients have and continue to support many nurses to develop from both a clinical and managerial perspective. Our nurses are actively encouraged to develop their clinical skills and enjoy a high level of autonomy, proactively running their unit with support from the internal team, our Clients and the wider medical community.
My client in Bridgend is part of a small group of homes in South Wales. Recently refurbished to a high specification, this 60 bedded nursing home provides Dementia and nursing care for elderly residents, as well as those with physical disabilities and mobility or sensory impairments.
They are looking for an RGN to join their friendly team. Offering a very competitive hoSlugy rate for the area, as well as pension and holidays, this presents a great opportunity for the right candidate.
