What on earth have Pandas got to do with Recruitment anyway?

Glad you asked.

When we started thinking about a name almost 7 years ago, we knew that it doesn't matter what we're called, what matters is the standard of service. Everything else is secondary. So we thought, "who is our target demographic?" and the next most important thing is that our brand is memorable.

Then we thought, we would quite like to envoke feelings of confidence and reassurance in our target demographic, feelings of support and encouragement and we definitely do not want to sound like a company whose name was thought up by a contestant on The Apprentice.

How did we do?

You can ask any of the more than 50 companies a year who partner with us or any of the 1000 candidates we find and represent to them.

We also liked the connotations of being black and white and endangered species, as in, good recruitment consultancy is black and white and the skill sets and talents we're known for finding are pretty rare.

Enough about us. What about you?

We ask for:

  1. A high baseline standard of written English
  2. Professionalism and consistent effort
  3. Realistic targets to be achieved
  4. Participation in our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.
  5. Senior Consultant positions require prior experience of being a 360 Recruiter.

Perhaps your sector is not as sexy as it once was and you're interested in a change or maybe you're an internal recruiter looking to accelerate your earning's potential. Maybe you're an old hand looking to step out of management or find somewhere a little more professional or maybe you're a recruitment mum (or dad) coming back from mat/pat leave or returning to work as the kids are growing up. We would also consider clinicians or care professionals who may have also had a sales career in a former life. That's happened and we've found that works really well too.

BUT we are not looking for wideboys or also-rans, you need to be able to make a compelling case as to why you are the right person to join our team no matter the experience you bring. That's because recruitment is a challenging profession. Being hungry, driven and resilient should go without saying for you and we'll be looking for evidence of loyalty and staying power.
