This is a small home with a GOOD CQC, fully staffed with long standing carers who love the residents, like they are all members of the same loving family.
All residents are mobile and need no personal care.
Well run Residential home needs a new Manager, the outgoing manager is relocating, but is in no hurry and will happily work an extra month providing a detailed handover.
There are 20 staff within the home. Residents are between 40 - 65 years old.
About You
You will have Knowledge of relevant Adult Social Care, Legislation, Government Guidance and Best Practice as well as Working Knowledge of Adult Protection Policies and Procedures.
You will have an understanding of the strategies for Managing Challenging Behaviour and the ability to make informed decisions and offer a clear lead including pre-planning and impartation and monitoring of those plans.
You should be able to communicate professionally and effectively with adult citizens, other team members, courts, professionals from statutory or voluntary sectors and other agencies.
This home is privately owned, with supportive owners, that do allow the manager complete autonomy, they are just there to support, like an extra hand on deck when needed.
