Quality Improvement Manager

Our client provides residential, nursing, dementia, palliative, respite and physical disability care for 55 persons. They offer expert care and support to people with a wide range of conditions such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, heart and chest related problems, reduced mobility and dementia. They are in a beautiful rural location offering a homely, comfortable and caring environment and encourage people to enjoy a range of activities both within the home and further afield.

You will work on site across key areas to provide practical support in delivering key care quality actions in the care home.

This will include:-

Care plan management and development

Audit and action oversight

Home induction

investigation of complaints

governance auditing

support in CQC preparation and inspection

About You

As Quality Manager you will be experienced in senior management of elderly nursing and residential care homes, preferably with a clinical background.

Have a thorough understanding of CQC regulations and how they pertain to elderly care homes and have a record of driving improvements in quality delivery.

Our client is a small provider with just a few homes.

Requirements for this position

Nursing Home Manager Quality Improvement Experience Compliance Aware CQC Experience Experience as a registered manager or deputy manager in a care setting. Experience of auditing services and driving improvement Working with diverse stakeholder groups including people with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, physical disabilities, people living with dementias and older people. Sound experience of working with the following legislation: Health and Social Care Act (2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, MCA 2005, Equality Act 2010, Care Act 2014 (including Section 42 Safeguarding principles), Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Equality Act 2010 Understanding of RIDDOR and Health and Safety requirements for care settings A demonstrable commitment to person-centred care and the principles of equality and diversity
