This large nursing home (70+ beds) is seeking a new manager to take over the helm and keep this ship on course. The home is being handed over in good shape. There is some work to do on the occupancy so you need to be confident and enjoy marketing and building links with the community and also the local authority.
Part of a small family run group, this role would suit someone who is seeking to work with an employer which is well established and is focused on that family-feel experience in their homes. Here, you are very much seen as an individual, not just one of the numbers. The senior management team knows all of their Home Managers personally, and your well-being is their priority. And this cascades down into all they do. You will receive lots of support, the Directors have recently invested in a Group Trainer and technology enhancements throughout their homes
So who are we looking for? If you are:
- Someone who has experience of managing a larger home already (60+ beds)
- You could be a registered nurse, although this is not essential if you have the experience of managing a larger home
- Level 5 qualification would be desirable but not essential, however you must be willing to work towards if you don't already hold this
- Perhaps you have multi-site management experience, but are looking to be in one fixed location
In return, the role attracts:
- £70,000+ salary
- Bonus scheme relating to KPI performance
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
