Full Job Description
We are looking to secure the services of a commercially driven & highly ambitious leader to manage a modern, large nursing home, based in Minehead, Somerset.
As General Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, maintaining high standards across the board, achieving occupancy & fee targets, and ensuring compliance with the CQC.
This role is for someone who wants to make a real difference and help support residents and staff to reach their potential. You will play a talismanic role, ensuring the residents are at the heart of everything that you do.
Home Manager Contract
- Salary of £70,000+ per annum
- Opportunity to earn an annual bonus based on KPI

Key components for a General Manager are;
- A proactive, analytical, and creative leader, who can positively influence their team.
- Clinical qualification is desirable. If you aren't clinically qualified, you must be comfortable leading a clinical team.
- Prior success managing a large care home / multi-sites.
- Proven track record of driving occupancy, ideally within the 'self-funders' market
- Building a strong rapport with local healthcare agencies, local community, and professionals
- Embedding the highest standards of care
