Reablement Centre
South Bristol
Night Nurse needed
This is a really interesting private sector role, with more nursing variability and success stories, different to nursing homes. The company really is one of the best employers in Bristol, respectful, considerate, realistic and kind. They really do look after their staff with an onsite counsellor full time to emotionally support their staff. This is a totally new role, as the home opened last year and is slowly offering wider services to their guests.
They are committed to training staff, if you are somebody with an interest in Palliative care and would like to take it further, they will support you in your learning, even placing you on seconment with a Hospice, whilst you undertake the Module at UWE.
If you are an experienced nurse, looking for something different to Nursing Home work, this may be the role for you.
Reablement alot of the time is all about getting residents back to their normal lives after a stay in the Bristol University hospitals.
As a night nurse in the reablement ward, you would have a maximum of 24 guests to care for, they should mostly have capacity and be able to take their own medications. As a reablement ward you will be pleased with a higher ratio of staff to guests, 1 : 4, Care plans, and medications are all paper based, admissions will not come in during the night, but paperwork will need to be completed for the later admissions.
COVID - if you have to isolate, etc, this company will continue to pay you at your normal rate.
Do please call me in the first instance, I don't even need a CV, lets just chat about this truly lovely organisation and see if you would like to take it further.
