Attention to detail is imperative as an HR Administrator!

Paying up to £27k for the right candidate and with the offer of fully funded support with CIPD qualification levels 3, 5 and 7 (if you want to go that far), as well as annual bonus and flexible working, this is a vacancy to pay attention to. And, if the opportunity to develop the HR function as the leading light on that front in the company as they grow sounds good, read on.

In position you will report to the Compliance Manager in their offices in Southampton City Centre. Current duties involve what you'll already be competent in, i.e. a broad range of generalist HR admin, including recruitment, interviewing, and liaising with external agencies to support the growing business. With 100 staff as part of an international health and social care company, there's plenty of that to do.

As you develop into the role of HR Administrator becoming an Advisor, you'll gain exposure with a view to leading on more complex matters, so you'll need to be a self-starter who finds out who to talk to in development of your role and where to find answers (i.e. ACAS) that solve and preferably prevent issues from arising in the first place, giving additional confidence to the operational leaders whilst benefitting from their experience and guidance.

Most importantly, you'll have excellent attention to detail, be great at collating information and have a genuine desire to develop your skills.

To be sure to be in contention you will have 2 years or more of HR Admin experience or may already have become a HR Advisor by another route. If any of that is within Health & Social Care or perhaps you've got health and social care experience and verifiable knowledge of employment law and recruitment, we'll be keen to discuss the prospect with you. HR IT system experience tends to be important too but most importantly a keen eye for detail and a constructive attitude is what will make you stand out.
