My old man says Children are all snotty little herberts!!!
He would not get this job as Head of Service for this nationally award winning provider of Specialist Children's Services.
You on the other hand, recognise that kids don't all get a good start in life. You've also decided that a career in residential children's care is definitely for you. You have experience in the field already and understand what a difference quality educational and therapeutic support has to the wellbeing of youngsters.
Also, you know that the environment youngsters call home is important too and as a result, it would appeal to you to support up to 11 high quality services that are contemporary in design and all set within pleasant semi-rurual communities.
As for you:
Well firstly you will understand and have knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations including the latest quality standards. You will be someone who has had muti site management experience, preferably with a level 5 management and leadership qualification or the equivalent.
Well work is work we can't deny it, but if you know a bit about emotional regulation and boundary management and might be able to describe transference, then you probably know how to make these type services fun places to work in.
You can rely on a senior management team who give great support to each other, as did we mention you would be apart of this board of directors. Not to mention you will have your very own Assistant Head of Service who is being promoted internally.
Look no further this company is going places and growing quickly. If you are successful then as a divisional director you will get a share in the equity.
And the package?
Well let's just say it is a leading package of between £60,000 to £80,000 with fabulous benefits including a share in the equity scheme, that is pretty much unrivalled amongst its competitors.
So, if you have a Level 5 or equivalent in Health and Social Care (preferably but not essentially in Children and Young People), leadership skills and a good attitude, then get in touch and don't delay.
There's much more to tell you about this very exciting opportunity!
