Are you looking for your next challenging role within Nursing Homes ?

We are looking for a strong nurse with real leadership skills

We would like you to work one clinical shift a week, the rest of your working week is all about being the deputy manager, leading, guiding, supporting, training, auditing, monitoring, assessing and supervisions. You may also be asked to undertake assessments (when they stop being virtual), take the lead in investigations, even run your own projects to improve the life of your residents.

Lead your team by example

Assist with the promote the home and actively participate in networking events to seek new, self-funding clients

Market special events within the home and surrounding area

Ensure regular communication meetings take place

Maintain a visible and high-profile presence within the home

Help residents achieve their goals and dreams

Help residents become independent in a safe secure environment

Have a very patient and caring nature

Assist with the recruitment, training and developing new staff

Go above and beyond to assist residents and your staff and be very organised

Requirements for this position

An active NMC pin Have prior relevant experience as a Nurse 2 years' experience in management NVQ 5 in leadership and management or equivalent/ working towards Sound knowledge of CQC Have excellent communication skills Have the relevant skills and experience for the above tasks Have adequate knowledge and understanding of the job role Work well under pressure and be able to work to deadlines The ability to work well with others
