Do you like the smell of freshly painted rooms, brand new crisp linen and beautifully designed facilities? As an experienced Commissioning Nursing Home Manager, I'm guessing that you do! Do you see yourself as someone who likes to create something special from scratch?

We are currently working on a role for a Commissioning Nursing Home Manager, based close to Wantage for a brand new luxury elderly nursing home, also offering Residential, Dementia and Respite care. This home is the newest addition to a significant growing portfolio of elderly nursing and care homes within this group; a group with homes from Scotland all the way down to the South East. That being said, they are not a soulless corporate and you will not feel like a small cog in a big machine. There is a strong chance to progress and be recognised and appreciated at a senior level. In fact, the owners know all of their Home Managers on a personal level. That doesn't mean you'll be micro-managed however... quite the opposite in fact. You can experience true autonomy to get on and do what you do best - create an amazing home, with a great reputation, not just in the local community, but also with CQC.

In return, you'll receive a salary of around £75,000 plus the opportunity to add an additional 20% in bonus on top of this, and if you can start within the next 8 weeks, then there is a Golden Hello bonus of £2000.

You are someone who has experience of successfully running a 65+ bed nursing home. If you've commissioned a home, even better. You don't need to be nurse qualified but you do need to have experience of managing a nursing home, and a CQC inspection record that speaks for itself; You know what Good looks like (if not Outstanding). In addition, you need to be good at recruiting your own team; nurses, carers, ancillary staff. You are also comfortable getting out into the community, building connections, shining a light on the home and what you can offer and have a penchant for sales (hand-in-hand with a focus on excellent quality of care of course!).

If this sounds like you, please apply or if you don't have a CV pulled together and would like to chat, please call Rachael Broderick at Recruitment Panda on 0161 914 5722 and we can sort your CV out later on.
