I am looking for a Clinical Lead Nurse for a GOOD rated 46 bedded Nursing Home. This is a second Clinical Lead post for this home, both the deputy and the Home Manager are non clinicians.
The home is loosely split into Medical Nursing residents and Dementia Nursing residents, they are using Person Centred Software for careplans and Atlas for emars.
As Clinical Lead Nurse you will contribute to the leadership of the home by attending regular Leadership Meetings, Complex Care meetings and a monthly Clinical Governance meeting to collaborate on creative solutions to challenges faced throughout the home
To act as an Assessor for carers completing the Care Certificate
To nurture new staff as they develop sound skills
To undertake supervisions with Nurses
To work collaboratively with the Leadership Team and
To contribute towards the Quality Assurance Framework by completing delegated aspects and tasks.
To conduct a monthly weight audit and delegate/coordinate related actions
To generate and review the Supportive and Palliative Care Indicators Tool (SPICT),
To delegate/coordinate any advanced care planning and palliative care planning tools and ensure these are consistently maintained for the month
This home is part of a small supportive group, with a family feel about it.
