We are looking for an Outstanding Clinical Lead Nurse / Deputy Nursing Home Manager to help run this 50 bedded Super Nursing Home.
This is going to be a partly supernumerary role, supporting the Home Manager. You will be operating as Nurse in Charge you will be looking to manage, lead, train and guide the nursing team during the shift to ensure company and regulatory standards are met at all times. You will be managing 8 RNs and numerous skilled carers, supervisions, development, disciplinaries etc.
Day to day tasks will include organising shifts and rotas in the absence of the Home Manager, participating in on-call cover, liaising with outside professionals and relative's families, keeping care plans and medical supplies updated as well as assisting the Home Manager with the general day to day running of the home.
Ensure at all times the highest standards of care are delivered to the service users whilst working within the defined company policies and procedures. Ensure all nursing practices are evidence based and reflect current trends.
Work with the Home management team and other trained nurses in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating quality nursing care. Supervising and training nurses and care assistants, ensuring the full and professional delivery of care to the clients. Lead on Clinical practice and developments within the home
Aims of Position
To provide support for Home Manager, to operate as Clinical Lead Nurse in Charge ensuring all aspects of nursing care meet standards. Lead, promote and develop clinical specialisms and awards of excellence in the care home
Essential Criteria
Must hold the Registered Nursing Qualification relevant to the post.
Be willing and able to carrying out any other necessary duties as agreed with Directors\Operations Team\Home Manager.
Must be eligible to work in the U.K
1st or 2nd level registration on the appropriate part of the register
