A very exciting opportunity in Cheshire has arisen with a new client of ours. I was contacted by the Director of this family run business yesterday. The long and short of it is that they own one small residential service in Cheshire that they are very proud of. Their Care Home Manager, who has been in post for nine years has recently been taken unwell and will be unavailable to work for the next three months. However, it's highly likely that this Care Home Managers position could become permanent.
This small residential service cares for individuals with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge and is located in beautiful surroundings in an affluent area of Cheshire, close to the motorway links.
There is a strong staff team in place already and now is your opportunity to join them.
The Care Home Managers role is predominately supernumerary with very flexible working hours, Monday to Friday. You will be expected to be on-call, but in the last five years the manager has only been called on two occasions and both times she was able to sort the situation out over the phone.
This is a fabulous opportunity for any Care Home Manager looking for a change. Perhaps you are an experienced Care Home Manager of a larger service, looking for something a little more personal and a better work/life balance. You could be an up and coming Care Home Manager that has already gained some leadership skills and is keen to take that next step up the career ladder. This company would be willing to support you in gaining your level 5 in leadership and management and would actually encourage it.
So what are you waiting for?
If you have an NVQ 3 in health and social care, have experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge and have led and empowered teams then contact Tim in confidence and attach a CV.
