Care Assistants, what can you tell me about the Red Cow? One of my favourite clients wants me to find them some super-duper, kind, loving, compassionate carers, from entry level upwards. We want to find people that know the area (who can tell me about The Red Cow?) and genuinely care about the standard of the care they are providing.

Starting pay £11 per hour to £12.50 on DAY shifts and £12 per hour to £13.50 for NIGHT shifts.

They offer:

  • Good rate of pay including a £500 welcome bonus (upon completion of 3 month probation) followed by £500 retention bonus after your first year
  • Full and Part time positions (flexible working hours)
  • Ongoing accredited training and support
  • Fully funded diploma in Health and Social Care
  • A career pathway with opportunities for promotion
  • 5.6 weeks' paid annual leave per year
  • Refer a friend incentive up to £1,000 dependent on role
  • Recognising great work through our employee of the month awards
  • Company pension scheme
  • Friendly team and supportive Manager
  • Modern, fit for purpose working environment
  • Free meals on duty
  • Free onsite parking
  • Close to transport links
  • Uniforms provided
  • Paid DBS
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing career training and development
  • Care and support for all the team

What you need:

Experience of caring for others would be useful, not necessarily in a paid role - you may have looked after an elderly relative or friend.

More important though is your kind-hearted nature, your belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative and imagination, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload. You'll be comfortable talking and working with people from different backgrounds and professions, you're great at giving those first impressions and being an ambassador for your workplace. Above all you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but every day is fun and rewarding.

Please apply with CV to Ruth Walster - If you haven't got a CV that's up to date, don't worry, call me and we can deal with that later.
