How would you paint the perfect Nursing Home Manager?

Say you have a blank canvas in front of you now, for example a new service in a desirable location in Lancashire.

The directors have invested £1.5 million in a tasteful, modern refurbishment, yet keeping many of the period features and they have given you the keys.

Not only that, but they have filled the home with staff for you, have a Clinical Lead with supernumerary hours to focus on audits and enviable support in a central HR Team and Finance Controller.

What about the residents?

Well they have their own onsite pub, memory room and creative activities coordinator to name just a few, it's no wonder their local bungalow neighbours regularly pop in for a coffee.

Need a little more?

If I were to tell you this small family run business, who have given me this exclusive vacancy, have big plans. They have opened two homes in two years and have further desires to expand progressively.

They believe in a collaborative approach, giving their managers autonomy and are making further investment in their infrastructure, rolling out electronic care plans and employing a group trainer.

They understand Home Management is tough, that's why they are looking to offer a competitive salary for between £45,000 to £55,000, with a realistic and achievable bonus structure and further enhancements.

Requirements for this position

Nurse managers and non nurse managers will be considered. You will have previous nursing home management experience, have a passion to run care homes, be ambitious, take ownership, bring new ideas and energy to this role. NVQ 4/5 or equivalent RMA will be desired.
