The Professional & Practice Development Facilitator (P&PDF) will support the facilitation of continuing professional and practice development for Admiral Nurses & Nursing. You will need to influence the continued professional practice development of Admiral Nurses across the region, ensuring best practice and evidence based care provided to those surrounding and including the person with dementia.
You will provide clinical supervision, supporting Admiral nurses with their CPPD, collaborating with other members of the Health and Social Care Providers to offer seamless care to Dementia sufferers and their families. You will recieve clear leadership from Head Office tht you will be required to decimate to the Admiral Nurses in the field on a monthly basis and through personal supervisions.
You need to be innovative, dynamic, with critical reflection and decision making skills. You should not be afraid of hard work, you should undertand how to get the best out of your team using a variety of different methods, identifying learning and development opoortunities ensuring the care of those with dementia and their families is constantly being reviewed and improved.
This is a very public role, and as such you will be expected to network appropriately and to speak at public meetings, committees, steering groups and research groups, facitating meeting and work groups as need.
Essential NMC Registration, Masters, Teaching or training qualifactation
Clinical experience within the Demenia World, clinical and professional supervisions, Recent and effective CPD within the dementia field, an ability to evaluate outcomes of clinical practice, and teaching others how. You will need to be IT literate, and you should be able to demonstrate working as an autonomous practitioner, you should an audit queen/king understanding the importance of effective evaluation.
This is a big and exciting role for a Dementia Specialist Clinican with experience of Professional Practice Development and how to facilitate. You will need to be flexible, able to travel to London for weekly meetings, Exeter and Southampton for monthly meetings.
